As a sponsor of the 2019 Women’s World Cup, Wells Fargo needed a voice and seamless way to talk about their Control Tower feature and football.

So we came up with Control the Game. A campaign where we partnered with key US Women’s National Team athletes from the past and present to share how controlling their game leads to winning it.

We had USWNT athletes Alex Morgan and Ali Krieger post the hero videos to amplify our campaign’s reach while @soccergirlprobs and @melissaortiz15 posted their own content to connect and activate their communities. 

Game Day Q&A

We also had Sydney Leroux host a live Twitter Q&A on game day, interacting with fans and promoting the campaign during big moments.

The Results

The campaign generated more than 256MM impressions, 66MM+ video views and 3.1MM+ engagements across all social content.
