BUY BETTER. WEAR LONGER.

Fashion production and consumption has reached unsustainable levels. It’s a big problem we are all part of. And as a leader in the fashion industry, Levi’s wanted to do something about it.

When looking back, we found that Levi’s were designed to be worn for generations, not seasons. This insight lead to a fresh spin on sustainability—Buy Better. Wear Longer.

In our film directed by Leo Aguirre, we team up with a few familiar faces to help the world understand how buying better leads to wasting less.

OUR PARTNERS IN CHANGE

To help our message travel around the world, we partnered with an international pack of changemakers who represent the future of sustianability in their own respective ways.

HOW TO LIVE MORE SUSTAINABLY

Since each partner is focused on a different part of sustainability, we made individual artist films to introduce them, their work, and their take on how to live more sustainably.

As part of our global social campaign, we created punchy carousels that help people undstand the problem and what they can do to consume and waste less.

NEW SANTA

The holidays. They’re all the same. Saccharine. Expected. Played out. So when Audi asked us to launch the new RS 5 Sportback, we flipped the script. In our short film directed by Craig Gillespie, Santa wakes up from his 2000 year holiday dream and sees a better version himself. Inspired by the new RS 5 Sportback, he goes full speed into a year-long personal transformation. Ultimately, old Santa becomes New Santa. And while the hard work creates its own reward, Mrs. Claus and the elves have a little surprise.

We made dozens of playful gifs and cutdowns that were used to launch the film and interact with people on social.

We also used the same location to shoot the RS 5 for @audi’s holiday social grid.

HAPPY BUSINESS

Cashflow. Taxes. Time tracking. Inventory. Running a small business is enough to make anyone lose their mind. In our short films directed by Harold Einstein, we take notoriously grouchy business owners from the past, like Sensei from The Karate Kid and Janine from Ghostbusters, and show how they turned into happier business owners with the help of QuickBooks.

In addition to paid social, we made organic posts, stories, and gifs.

And yes, even merch.

Commissioned by Apple: Reuben Wu

Commissioned by Apple is an on-going spotlight series where Apple hires artists to get creative with the latest iPhone camera features.

For this one, Apple partnered with Reuben Wu, a National Geographic photographer and multidisciplinary artist with a powerful vision.

To support the partnership, we created a short BTS film broken into five chapters that was shared on IG stories. As the lead, I spoke with Reuben, wrote the script, and directed the film with an in-house editor.

RECOGNIZE

In 2021, Dockers launched Recognize, a film series designed to amplify Black stories, employ diverse talent, and inspire stronger community.

For their second spotlight, we spoke with action sports icon, media personality, musician, and entrepreneur—Selema Mabena Masekela.

Selema has inspired a diverse generation of young athletes around the world. And continues to lead by showing us all how to stand up for what’s right on and off the board.
